Annual Scholarship Fundraising Tournament

HMAA’s 3rd annual Scholarship Fundraising Tournament will be held the afternoon of October 14th, the last day of Break Bulk Conference at the world famous Tour 18 (near the IAH Bush Intercontinental Airport).

In the past two years HMAA has awarded more than $10,000 in scholarships and funding for transportation studies, to Texas A&M Galveston, ITMA (International Transport Managers Association) Houston and the University of Houston Downtown to further its program to have a BA in transportation and strengthen the future of our industries.

The 20th Break Bulk Conference will be held here in Houston on Oct 12, 13 & 14th and this tournament is a great way to end the conference and take time with clients and friends for a lunch, afternoon of golf and nice dinner after at Tour 18. Even taste some of Arnold Palmer’s nice wine at the dinner. You can even just join in for dinner after the tournament.

Whether you live in Houston or are coming to Houston for this huge shipping (networking) event, please consider sponsoring a foursome or two or three, or one of the other sponsorship opportunities as per the attached flyer either as a corporation or personally.

Whatever way you can participate will be greatly appreciated, whether it’s a foursome(s), sponsorships, donations or just by passing along this flyer to others who may be interested in great afternoon of fun and networking.

All funds raised will be donated by the HMAA for the future of the Transportation and Energy industries.

We are hoping that we can match this year what we donated in the past two years. It’s possible with your support.

Please feel free to contact the event coordinator, Captain David Scruton with any questions you may have at (281) 444-9495, or by email at dscruton@3dmarine.com
