Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

Mary Ann GilesMary Ann Giles of Galveston, TX passed away Saturday, September 18,2010 in Dickinson, TX.   A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25,2010, at the Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 5202 Avenue K, Galveston, TX, the Rev. Timothy Allen Sr., Pastor/Eulogist and the Rev. William L. Randall officiating.

Mrs. M.A. Giles was born to the late Dave and Mary Johnson Scott on April 1, 1920 being the eldest of seven children. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Percy J. Giles; grandson: Joseph P. Gibson;  brothers: David, Moses, Daniel, Ezekiel Scott; sister: Judy Miller.  Mrs. Giles is survived by a son James Gibson ,Jr.(Erma); daughter: Mary E. Bobino (Arthur); forty eight grand and great grandchildren; brother: Isaiah Jones of New Orleans, LA.; sisters: Rebecca Pittman of New Orleans, LA. and Elizabeth Bob of Franklin, LA.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be sent to Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary 3828 Avenue O Galveston, TX 77550.
