Margaret Eleanor Barry, 92, of Galveston, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010, in League City, Texas.
 
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Monday, October 4th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Galveston, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson.
 
Margaret was born February 12, 1918, in Galveston, Texas. She became a nun after graduating from Sacred Heart Academy in 1935, and taught kindergarten there for many years. After leaving the convent, she lovingly cared for infants at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston. Known as Aunt Margo to her family, she remained a passionate and devout Catholic throughout her life.
 
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Annie Barry; sister, Juanita Barry; and brothers, Robert, Tom, and Patrick Barry. She is survived by two sisters-in law, Edith Barry and Delores Barry, and many nieces and nephews.
