Vincent Megale, Jr., 90, formerly of Galveston, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in Wylie, Texas. He was born August 17, 1920, in Galveston, and served his country in the US Navy during World War II. Vincent was a retiree of Teamsters Local #988 and worked at Moody National Bank for many years, retiring in 1982. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #880 and was of the Baptist faith.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Dolores M. Megale; sons, Vincent Megale, III, and wife, Patricia; and Michael Megale; stepdaughter, Beverly Spears; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vincent’s family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Friday, October 15th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be 9:00 am, Saturday, October 16th, at Oleander Cemetery in Galveston.
