Brazoria County Commissioners Court, in an emergency meeting on Wednesday, voted unanimously to amend a contract with the Brazoria County Fair Association.

During a consideration of additional items from a regular meeting preceding the emergency session, the commissioners court voted unanimously to canvass the votes in the November 2 Midterm Election.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to renew an interlocal agreement with the University of Texas Medical Branch for Forensic Pathology Services. The agreement was extended from September 2010 through August 2011, under which UTMB will provide the county medical examiner services. The county will pay a total of $337,365 for the term of the renewed contract.
