WHERE: Hotel Galvez & Spa, 2024 Seawall Blvd., Galveston, TX
WHEN: Friday, Nov. 26, 6 to 8 p.m.
WHY: Following the devastation of Hurricane Ike in 2008, the hotel and owners George Mitchell and the Mitchell family hosted the hotel’s first holiday lighting in an effort to bring the community of Galveston together to celebrate the holidays.
