Ollie B. Lucas
Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

Ollie B.  LucasMrs. Ollie B.  Lucas, 81, received her reward of eternal rest on Sunday, November 28, 2010, at her residence.

Ollie was born March 22, 1929, in Lake Charles, LA to Charlie Evans and Hazel Sennette. A longtime resident of Galveston, she accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of First Union Baptist Church, where she served in Choir #2, Senior Mission and with the Culinary Dept..

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Willie Lucas.

Left to cherish memories are, her daughter: Rose King; stepdaughter :Cecilia Jones; grandchildren Kelvin, Jr. (Tara), Josette and Quentin (Kervina); seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters: Viola Williams, Irene Fonteno and Mary L. Washington; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9AM on Saturday, December 4, 2010, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 AM at First Union Baptist Church with Pastor David L. Everson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
