Beaumont Animal Services and want to put all pets in homes this holiday

Beaumont, Texas – Beaumont Animal Services and are participating in the national “Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays” pet fostering program.  Across the country, more than 13,000 pet rescue organizations are trying to empty their kennels for Christmas, encouraging citizens to invite a pet home for the holidays.

Beaumont Animal Services averages 60 adoptable dogs and 30 adoptable cats at any given time.  The goal for the "Foster a Lonely Pet for the Holidays" program is to have each of these pets into a home by noon on Dec. 23. Available pets can be viewed online at

There is no fee to foster a pet. Pets are available for fostering immediately, and can be returned to animal services after the first of the year, or adopted according to the procedures in place with Animal Services.

People interested in making this Christmas a happy holiday for a pet in need, or who want more information should contact Beaumont Animal Services at 409-838-3304.
