MOODY GARDENS TO HOST TOY DRIVE AND GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT CHILDREN
December Golf Course Activities to Help Resource & Crisis Center of Galveston County

Galveston Island, Texas — The Moody Gardens Golf Course is getting into the holiday spirit this month by hosting special activities to benefit children in need. Now through Dec. 15, golfers can receive a free bucket of range balls when they bring a new, unwrapped toy for the golf course’s toy drive.

Also, on Dec. 11, Moody Gardens will host the second annual “Merry Kids’smas Scramble” golf tournament. The tournament includes a four-person team scramble format with a shotgun start at 12 p.m. The cost is $70 ($45 for annual pass holders) plus one new, unwrapped toy. The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, range balls, lunch, prizes and refreshments after the tournament. Registration and entry fees are due Dec. 9.

Both programs will benefit the Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County.

For more information call 409-683-4653 or visit www.moodygardensgolf.com. Registration forms for the golf tournament are available at the Golf Course Pro Shop, or can be downloaded at:
