"Krewes Into Kemah" Mardi Gras Parade and Carnival

KEMAH, TEXAS- Krewe du Lac and The City of Kemah present the Ninth Annual Krewes Into Kemah" Parade and Carnival on Sunday, March 6, 2011.  

Line up starts at 11 a.m. on Harris Street in Kemah behind T Bone Tom's.  

The parade rolls at 12 p.m. All individuals, schools, groups and businesses are encouraged to decorate trucks, cars, floats, golf carts and anything that rolls in Pirate decor or Mardi Gras colors.  

The parade winds through the streets of Kemah while merry makers have a great time throwing beads and loot to the crowds.  The route begins on Harris Avenue, to 7th Street, Kipp Street to 8th street and back to Harris. Spectators feel free to bring a chair, pick a spot and have a front row seat. Participation and admission is free! 

The post parade "Kemah Carnival" is from noon to dusk at T Bone Tom's.  It is something families and guests should not miss.  T Bone Tom's has a full menu and a cash bar available, not to mention the every popular crawfish.  

Live music, a family friendly costume contest, Arts and Mardi Gras market will round out the afternoon.  Great family fun to celebrate the Mardi Gras season!
