Texas A&M University at Galveston is set to confer academic degrees on 111 qualifying candidates for graduation at its Fall Commencement on Dec. 18 at 9 a.m.
The ceremony is set in Moody Gardens Convention Center – Expo Hall C
Galveston, Tex. TAMUG – One-hundred-eleven Sea Aggies, who successfully completed all required coursework in the 2010 fall semester, are eligible to receive their master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Texas A&M University at Galveston’s Fall Commencement Ceremony on Dec. 18 (Saturday) at 9 a.m. in Moody Gardens Convention Center -- Expo Hall C.
TAMUG’s Acting Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. William J. Merrell, will preside over the ceremonies and confer the degrees.
Dr. Frank B. Ashley, vice chancellor for Academic Affairs for the Texas A&M System’s eleven universities and health science center, will deliver the commencement address.
Ashley, who also leads TAMU System efforts to expand the enrollment of community college students, has served in a number of administrative positions in the system over the past 24 years.
Among other responsibilities, he also leads efforts to develop system educational initiatives.
