Monday, January 03, 2011

Brazoria County Commissioners Court held a special meeting on Saturday, New Year’s Day, following the ceremony to administer oaths of office to newly elected officials. Precinct 2 Commissioner Matt Sebesta, who was reelected, and newly elected Precinct 4 Commissioner Larry Stanley, were among the officials administered oaths of office.

The special meeting agenda included acceptance of bonds of election officials and deputations for the Brazoria County Tax Office.

The commissioners court named Commissioner Stacy Adams as it’s representative to the Houston-Galveston Area Council General Assembly and Board of Directors and Commissioner Stanley as the alternate.

The commissioners court approved Holmes Murphy & Associates as consultants to conduct an Indigent Health Care review for the county.

All agenda items were approved 5-0.
