Parker fled from the deputies as they approached to arrest him. Deputies used Flir equipment from the Kemah Police Department and Thermal imagining equipment from the San Leon Fire Department without locating the suspect. Deputies requested assistance from then Texas City Police for the use of their K-9 unit The Texas City Police responded to assist in the search and located the suspect in a field in the 5600 blk of FM 517, near where he fled from Deputies.
