The Alvin Community College Continuing Education Workforce Development Department partners with Just ONCE to offer one-day classes in piano and guitar.

The next Just ONCE Guitar course, which will be held on Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon, will cover how chords work in a song, how to form the three main types of chords, how to tune a guitar, basic strumming patterns, how to buy a good guitar, and how to play along with simple tunes.

Each one-day class costs $76 for in-district residents and $96 for out-of-district and includes a workbook and practice CD. For more information or to register, contact the ACC CEWD at (281) 756-3787.
