At 6 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 13), members of the Houston Police Department's Eastside Patrol Division, the Greater East End Mangement District, Houston East End Chamber of Commerce and various elected officials will host a crime prevention training symposium for East End business owners and managers. 

In the first of what is expected to be many of these special sessions, HPD will provide crime prevention and personal safety tips to East End business owners and managers and address their security concerns. 

The event will be held at the Magnolia Multi-Service Center, 7037 Capitol.
