Louise Bartlett
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Louise BartlettLouise Bartlett, 94, of Galveston, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at Friendship Haven Rehabilitation Center in Friendswood.  She was born March 7, 1916, in New Orleans, LA.  Mrs. Bartlett retired from the American National Insurance Company in Galveston.  She was a member of Crockett Place United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. 

Mrs. Bartlett was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Hugh Bartlett, and mother, Ola Mae Pierce.   She is survived by her three children:  Hugh Bartlett, Jr., of Tampa, FL; Barbara Quinn, of Friendswood, TX; and Doris Bartlett, of Santa Fe, TX; grandchildren: Barbara Williamson and husband, James; Kimberly Quinn; Tracy Bartlett; Karen Mitchell and husband, Hank; great grandchildren: Scott Mitchell; Denise Williamson; Daryl Williamson and wife, Valerie; and great great grandson, Austin Williamson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Those who wish may make memorials in the form of a donation to Shriners Burns Hospital for Children, 815 Market, Galveston, TX 77550, or to Hospice Care Team, Inc., 1708 Amburn, Suite C, Texas City, TX 77591.
