The Rotary Club of Texas City is excited to announce the 1st Annual Mardi Gras on the Mainland Gala to be held on February 12, 2011 at the Doyle Convention Center in Texas City in conjunction with the City of Texas City’s Centennial Celebrations.  The Gala will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a Cajun style dinner catered by Benno’s, silent auction and dancing to continuous music throughout the evening.  We are excited to have two amazing bands to provide music until midnight – Andy and the Dreamsicles and The Bare Necessity. 

The event will help provide funding for the many community projects Rotary does such as awarding Texas City High School senior students with scholarships, providing area Kindergarten students with a personalized book and notable projects in the community such as the Rotary Pavilion, Rotary Fitness Trail, Shoal Lighthouse and many more.
