ROBINSON ELEMENTARY LIBRARY TO BE NAMED AFTER LONGTIME PRINCIPAL
League City – On Monday, January 24, 2011 the Clear Creek ISD Board of Trustees approved a request from Robinson Elementary to name the library after longtime CCISD principal and teacher, Jim Stephens.
Stephens retired in December of 2010 after serving children for more than 42 years. He worked on various campuses in various roles including principal of Seabrook Intermediate, Weber Elementary which he opened as principal, Space Center Intermediate which he opened as principal, and Clear Lake and Clear Creek High Schools where he was a teacher. Stephens opened what would be his last campus, Robinson Elementary School, in 2006. Students celebrated his many years of service with a farewell ceremony in December that included skits, songs and speeches.
