CLEAR LAKE HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR MUSICAL ATTRACTS THEATER LEGEND
League City - Edward Albee, a three time Pulitzer Prize winner, best known for his work, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, attended Clear Lake High School's senior musical this past weekend. According to assistant principal Michel Froneberger, Albee “enjoyed the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and thought the students did a great job.”
Albee is a mentor and friend of John Grimmet, who was the musical director for the production at Clear Lake High School. The production crew and students were thrilled to meet Albee, who was awarded a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement, recognizing him as America's greatest living playwright.
