Margaret Sheppard
Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

Margaret SheppardMargaret Sheppard, 95, received her reward of eternal rest on Friday, February 4, 2011, at Gulf Health Care Center in Galveston.

Margaret was born April 3, 1915, in Galveston, to Levy and Pearl Weeks. She attended school in Galveston and was a retired  private home provider.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and most recently her daughter, Margaret Maxey.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen Shields of Texas City; 16 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, 146 great great grandchildren, 18 great great great grandchildren; devoted son in law, Johnny Maxey, Sr; host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 11AM on Saturday, February 12th, at Avenue L Baptist Church, with funeral service at 1:00 PM with Pastor E.R. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Galveston, TX.
