FM 2100 COMMUNITY MEETING

The Texas Department of Transportation Houston District Office will hold a community meeting to discuss proposed traffic improvements to FM 2100 in Crosby, Texas. The meeting will be held Thursday, February 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Crosby High School at 14703 FM 2100 in the auditorium.

TxDOT staff will present proposed improvements to FM 2100 between Luce Bayou and Hare Road resulting from a recent traffic study conducted by the agency to assess potential safety enhancements including, but not limited to, the installation of various traffic signals and rumble strips, added signage and pavement markings and possibly reducing the speed limit along the corridor. TxDOT will also review the current status of the new overpass construction at the railroad tracks in Crosby.

TxDOT officials along with elected officials and civic leaders will take part in the meeting and citizens are welcomed to provide input on the improvements.

For more information contact the TxDOT Public Information Office at (713) 802-5076.
