The Board of Commissioners of the Port of Beaumont Navigation District today voted unanimously to approve a $41,875 service award request from Elogic Technologies, Inc. for additional port account computer system upgrades.

The board also voted unanimously to approve an election order for the May 14 Port Commission Election for the Ward 4 Commissioner position currently held by Georgine Guillory and the At Large Commissioner position currently held by Louis Broussard. Both Guillory and Broussard have filed for re-election. No other candidates have filed for the position at this time.

All other agenda items were approved. All votes were unanimous.
