On March 4, 2011, Detectives of  the Galveston Police Department secured an arrest warrant for Dontrel Alexander Sanders for the offense of Injury to a Child-Serious Bodily Injury (1st degree felony) in connection with the death of two year-old Treashon Young. The death of Treashon Sanders occurred on February 27th, 2011 in the 5400 block of Ave L in Galveston, Texas.


On March 4, 2011, Detectives with the Galveston Police Department made contact with Dontrel Sanders who stated he would turn himself in to detectives at 11:30am at the Galveston Police Department station. At the time of this press release, Dontrel Sanders, has not turned himself in, and he is believed to be intentionally avoiding apprehension.


Dontrel Sanders was last seen with Arianne James in Alvin Texas, possibly heading to Galveston, driving a 1996 White Crown Victoria TX LP LTY-235. It is unknown at this time the condition of Arianne James. There is all the possibility that Dontrel Sanders is in the company of his two children that he has with Arianne James. We have not been able to confirm the whereabouts of Dontrel Sanders or Arianne James at the time of this press release.
