Deputies arrest two in Drug Raid 

Galveston County Sheriff’s Deputies along with members of the Texas City Police Department were investigating narcotics activities in Texas City, which led to the execution a search warrant in the 5700 blk of Hobgood St. in Texas City.

Samuel Leon Pines, 38 yoa and Latory Keosha Kennison, 34 both of Texas City, were arrested.

Pines and Kennison were both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to deliver which was 4grams=< 200 grams First Degree Felony his bond was set at $75,000.00 each. Pines has been released on bond and Kennison remains in custody in the Galveston County Jail.

Deputies seized 33 grams of Crack Cocaine and cash believed to be the proceeds of their criminal activities.
