INVESTIGATORS SEEK TIPS IN 1979 MURDER
HOUSTON, Texas – Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Cold Case Unit need the public’s help in solving the 1979 murder of a man in northeast Harris County.
On Monday, October 1, 1979, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Russell King was found unresponsive at 2400 North Houston Avenue in the Humble Area. Mr. King, 52, had been stabbed to death. His vehicle had been stolen and was later recovered along FM 1960 East.
