A.C. Daniels, Sr.
Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

A.C. Daniels, Sr.A.C. Daniels, Sr., 90, received his reward of eternal rest on March 5, 2011, at The Meridian in Galveston. 

A.C. was born on July 19, 1920, in Kennard, Texas, to Jimmie and Elizabeth Daniels. He was an U. S. Army veteran and  retired from O'Connell High School, where he worked as a maintenance personnel. He enjoyed doing carpenter work, because he loved working with his hands. He also loved caring for his special canine friends. 

A.C. was preceded in death by his parents,  wife, Amy Daniels; and daughter, Elizabeth Fern Daniels. He is survived by his son, A.C. Daniels, Jr.; sister, Fannie Rose;  devoted friend, Clemon Stevens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:30AM on Thursday, March 10, 2011, followed by service celebrating his life at 11:00 am at the First Union Baptist Church, (1027 Avenue K)  with Pastor  David L. Everson, Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston, TX.
