Sheriff Deputies Bust Sex Business

The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant earlier today in 1000 blk of Grand Ave in Bacliff at the Santa Fe Spa.

Detectives opened an investigation into the Spa after receiving two complaints by phone and on the Sheriff’s Website Police 2 Citizen.

Undercover deputies posing as customers entered the business on three different dates and were offered sex by the employees each time. The employees told undercover deputies the cost of the various sex acts they were offering to perform.

The evidence was presented to the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office which authorized the issuance of a search warrant for the business and arrest warrants on the employees.

Tuyet Thi Tran, age 31 of Houston, manager of the establishment, was charged with Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution a Third Degree Felony with a bond of $10,000.00.

Jean Chung, 56 of Houston was charged with Prostitution, a Class B Misdemeanor and her bond was set at $1500.00.  Both women were booked into the Galveston County Jail without incident.
