On Sunday February 27, 2011, Little Traeshon  De'Wayne Young received his reward of eternal life, free from all the cares and troubles of this world. Traeshon was born on April 23, 2008 in Galveston, TX to Porsche Mitchell and Gary Young. He is the second child in the family of three.  He attended Bottoms Up Day Care Center and was affectionately called "Trae, Trae".  He loved to run and play football with his daddy, along with helping his mother with his little brother "G.G."  His favorite words while playing football were " hut, hut, ready, set, go." He also loved playing video games,  Daddy’s’ Day Care, watching Yo Gabba Gabba and the Disney Channel. 

He was preceded in death by grandmother, Shawn Sims and grandfather, Willis Mitchell.  He leaves to cherish the precious memories of his life with his mother, Porsche Mitchell;  father, Gary Young;  brother, Ga'Von Jayla Young;  sister, Essence Davis of California; grandmother, Teresa Young (Nanny); Billy Franklin (Papa) ; great-grandmother, Carol Silverand; step great-grandfather, John Silverand of Houston, TX; great grandfather, Johnnie (Irene) Young of Galveston, TX;  aunts, Ashlie Blanks of Houston, TX, and Gloria Young of Galveston, TX; godmother, Regina Pleasant of Houston, TX; cousins, Taneshia Blanks, Kiarye Blanks, Le"Ashtian Blanks, Tyreak McKnight, Gerriyia Young, Malachi Young, G'Nyiah Young, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss Traeshon.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2011, followed by a service celebrating his life at 11:00 a.m. at Avenue L Baptist Church with Pastor E.R. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
