Lawrence Paul (Larry) Yeager
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Lawrence Paul (Larry) Yeager, 81, of Texas City, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at Cornerstone Hospital of Clear Lake.


Larry’s family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm, Thursday, March 17th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 6:30 pm.


Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Friday, March 18th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.


Larry was born April 27, 1929, in Galveston, Texas.  He graduated from Kirwin High School and spent his career as a member of ILA Local #1665 Clerk & Checker Union, retiring in 1994.  Larry was an exceptional card player and an avid football fan.


Larry was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bernard Yeager, Sr.; mother, Mary Catherine Clinch Yeager; sons, Louis Paul, Donald Stevens, and Ronald Lee Yeager; brothers: Charles, Henry, Tommy, James, Jackie, and Steve Yeager; and sisters, Julia, Agnes, and Molly.


He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Yeager; sister, Theresa Benge and husband, Bob; brothers, Paul Yeager and wife, Toni; Mike Yeager and wife, Pam; Phillip Yeager; and Pat Yeager; good friend, Darrell Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


Pallbearers will be Darrell Johnson, John Rose, Charles Yeager, Ryan Yeager, Eric Yeager, and AJ Huizar.
