UHCL Celebrates "Setting the Table"

Approximately 150 University of Houston-Clear Lake students, faculty, alumni and community friends celebrated the opening of “Setting the Table,” an exhibition that honors the groundbreaking feminist art exhibition Judy Chicago’s “The Dinner Party” and the Margarita Cabrera “Space in Between” video project. Pictured are speakers and organizers of the event Professor Emerita Gretchen Mieszkowski, Assistant Professor of Art and Design Jane Chin Davidson, Professor of Fine Arts Nick J. de Vries, and UH-Clear Lake students Alisa Tutt and Victoria Hoover. The exhibition, which includes a themed collection of drawings, test plates and maquettes from the original installation, will be on display through April 30 in UH-Clear Lake’s Alfred R.
