Cloudy Brown
Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

Cloudy BrownCloudy Brown, 88, departed this life on Friday, March 10, 2011, at Bay Oak Care Center.

Cloudy was born July 22, 1922, and was a longtime resident of Galveston. He was a US Army veteran serving during WW II, and was a retired seaman, longshoreman and carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carolyn Brown; son, Thomas Brown, daughter, Betty Gaskin; brother, Johnny Brown; sister, Amanda Edwards; grandson, Cedric Bland; and also Dorothy Daniels.

He leaves with cherish memories, sons, Joe Nathan Brown (Joyce), Johnny Ray Bland (Sandra), stepson, Ray Lemons; daughter, Tina Jobe (Tony Hardiman); stepdaughters, Angela, Elizabeth and Yolanda Lemons, Lillie Bland, Doris Burton and Eddie Jean Turner; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 11AM on Saturday, March 19, 2011, followed by funeral service at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. A.W. Colbert officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX.
