Authorities seek Hill County Most Wanted Sex Offender
Law enforcement continues to search for a wanted sex offender whose violent past has made him one of Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders.
Dallas Wayne Waddell, 45, was last seen in 2005 in the town of Whitney (Hill County), where he was a registered sex offender. Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for his capture, and all tips are anonymous.
Waddell has the name Diana tattooed on his left hand. He also has lion/clouds/trees tattoos on his upper left arm, and Jesus/heart/cross tattoos on the outside of his right leg. He has worked as a boiler maker, pipe fitter and laborer.
His criminal history includes a 1987 arrest for aggravated sexual assault and a subsequent guilty plea to sexual assault of a child involving a 13-year-old girl in Hamilton County. Waddell also was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Harris County in 1989 and has other convictions for drugs, theft and DWI.
Waddell is currently wanted for burglary of a habitation out of Hill County and parole violation for not registering as a sex offender. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on these offenders can provide anonymous tips in three different ways:

· Submit a tip through the DPS website by selecting the sex offender you have information about, and under their picture is a link to submit a web tip.

- Houston (3)
- El Paso (2)
- Grand Prairie
The Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders program identifies violent sex offenders who have either violated parole or failed to comply with sex offender registration.
