San Jacinto College holds open soccer tryouts
HOUSTON —The San Jacinto College men’s soccer team will hold open tryouts for the 2011 season on Saturday, Apr. 9, at the South campus soccer field.
Tryouts are open to high school seniors, recent graduates, and other college transfers. Participants are required to bring their own shin guards, water, and a white shirt. Tryouts will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
San Jac finished the 2010 season ranked 8th in the nation by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and 11th by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) with an overall record of 14-4.
