1992 MURDER REMAINS A MYSTERY

HOUSTON – The 1992 murder of a man in northeast Harris County remains a mystery and investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Cold Case Unit hope the public can help solve it.

On the evening of Saturday, March 21, 1992, Bruce Dibble was at the Corner Pub, located at 2900 Hirschfield Road. He left the establishment and began walking home. At approximately 10 p.m., he was found in the roadway nearby. Mr. Dibble, 41, had blunt force injuries to the head and died as a result of these injuries.

No photo of the victim is available.

Anyone with information about the killer(s) in this case is asked to please contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (713-222-8477) or the HCSO’s Cold Case Unit at 713-967-5911.

This is one of several cold cases that the HCSO is featuring every week in hopes of gathering new information that may help solve them. For many of these cases, there is very little information, so investigators are relying solely on the public’s tips.
