20-YEARS-OLD MURDER REMAINS UNSOLVED
HOUSTON – Today marks the 20th anniversary of the unsolved murder of a young man in north Harris County. Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Cold Case Unit hope the public can provide clues to help solve it.
The victim is Kevin Barak. He was 18 years old.
On Sunday, April 21, 1991, at approximately 8 p.m., Barak was found locked in the trunk of his car at 15401 Greendale near Dow Park in north Harris County. He had been shot and killed.
