IH 10 Eastbound Frontage Road at Holland Now Open
"Crews open bridge before morning rush hour"

Houston - The Texas Department of Transportation opened the IH 10 eastbound frontage road at Holland early this morning.  The frontage road was closed due to damage to the new frontage road bridge over Hunting Bayou.  TxDOT personnel coordinated with the construction contractor for the permanent repairs to the damaged portion of the bridge.  Work continued around the clock to open the bridge well ahead of the predicted time. 

TxDOT also went out and spoke with several businesses in the area yesterday to relay pertinent information, explain temporary detours and also listen to any concerns from the residential and business communities.
