Gertrude Louise Grigg
Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Gertrude Louise Grigg, born September 26, 1920 in Galveston, TX, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011, at Regent Care Center of League City.  She was a loving wife and mother.

Her family will receive visitors beginning at 9:30 am, Friday, May 6th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 10:00 am, led by Deacon Robert Standridge.  Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am on Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Grigg; and son, Robert D. Grigg, Jr.  She is survived by her daughters, Sandra L. Sampson, of Dickinson; and Margaret Kathleen Smith and husband, Greg, of League City; son, Paul Herbert Grigg and wife, Elizabeth, of Pearland; grandchildren: Michael Falks, Lawrence Falks, Blake Grigg, Jeffrey Grigg, Laura McCormick, and Megan Smith; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Lydia Hendrickson, of Friendswood; brother, Raymond “Pat” Frank, Jr., of Houston; brother-in-law, Joseph Jones Grigg, of California; special friends: Dot Dellanera, Mildred Stubbs, Nellie Forester, and Elena Falks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Greg Smith, Michael Falks, Lawrence Falks, Blake Grigg, Jeffrey Grigg, and Robert Thomas.  Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Stubbs and Bart Antle.
