Edwin is preceded in death by his father, son: Edwin Dickison, Jr.; and grandparents, Jesse and Laura Dickison.  He leaves with cherished memories, a daughter: Madison Nimer; his mother: Charity Boulet; brother: Edwin Gerard, Jr.; sisters: Pamela Hennigan (James) and Rhonda Williams (Marc); uncle: John Dickison (Matilda); aunts: Vandella Dorsey and Elizabeth Dockery (George); special friends: James Priestly (Penny) and John Black; and a host of nieces and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4PM on Thursday, May 19th, followed by a wake from 7-8pm in the chapel of Fields- Johnson Family Mortuary. Service celebrating his life will be held Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at  Compton Memorial COGIC (2628 Ball) with Elder R.E. Woodard III officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
