Three Alvin Community College GED Graduates were recently honored with scholarships.




Allison Shed of Alvin, was honored with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Nelda Harlan Scholarship by Alvin chapter president and Alvin Community College Dean of Students JoAn Anderson during the ACC GED graduation ceremony on May 18.

Shed was also a guest speaker at the event.

Maranda Adkins of Friendswood, was honored with the Ruby Webb Peterson Scholarship by Alvin Community College Foundation Executive Director and Assistant to the President Wendy Del Bello during the ACC GED graduation ceremony on May 18.

Adkins was also a guest speaker at the event.

Traci Rhyne of Manvel, was honored with the J. Kenneth Gooch Memorial Scholarship by Alvin Community College Foundation Executive Director and Assistant to the President Wendy Del Bello during the ACC GED graduation ceremony on May 18.

Rhyne was also a guest speaker at the event.
