Carnes Brothers Funeral Home

Our beloved Husband and Father, Manuel A. Galindo Sr. was born on November 15, 1934 in Las Encinas, Coahuila Mexico. He passed away at his home on May 20, 2011 surrounded by his family. He worked at Galveston Shipbuilding for over 15 years and at Farmer’s Marine. He was of Catholic Faith and was a member of the Sociedad Guadalupana at La Reina De La Paz and recently of Holy Family Parish where he was an usher. He was a very loving and caring Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Father- In-law, and Uncle as well as a Godfather and friend to many.

He enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends as they would gather often for parties and dance to his favorite music. He always made everyone laugh and his smile would light up the room. One of his many enjoyments almost every day was to go to El Mercadito, and El Gusto to have a cup of coffee and spread some laughter. He will be greatly missed and will always have a place in our hearts until we can be with him again.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe de Jesus+ and Margarita Galindo+, Granddaughter, Erica Paige Galindo+, son in law, Juan C. Gonzalez Sr.+, and nephew, Marco A. Galindo Jr.+.
