The order came after a re-canvassing of the votes in the race between incumbent Dr. Bill Spillar and challenger Davey Jones.

An automatic recount was held on Thursday morning due to both candidates receiving 122 votes in the May 14 election. No change came as a result of the recount, leaving no winner in the race.

Mail in and provisional ballots also failed to break the stalemate.
