COM To Present Annual Juneteenth Celebration

The College of the Mainland Multicultural team will present its annual Juneteenth Celebration Wednesday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the LRC Auditorium (L-131). This year’s theme, “Education: the Key to Gaining Freedom,” will feature Marcus D. Wiley, educator and entertainer from Praise 92.1 FM. Entertainment will be guest soloist Twyla Isaac and poetry by Dey’Shreona Lynch. A luncheon will follow in the LRC breezeway. The public is invited to join the celebration.
