Communities in Schools of Galveston held its Lunch with a Leader campaign at Central Middle School last week.

“What we are doing is matching children with leaders in the community, and letting them know just what they need to do to become leaders,” said CIS Executive Director Marian Thomas in an interview with Juan Peña. Listen: MP3  RealPlayer

“That’s what we are looking forward to, our students becoming leaders,” Thomas said.  “Not statistics, but leaders.”
