Free Houston Symphony performance at San Jacinto College 

WHAT: Free “Gotta Dance!” performance by the Houston Symphony

WHERE: San Jacinto College Central Campus, 8060 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, in the Slocomb Auditorium

WHEN: Tuesday, June 7, 2011, 10:30 a.m.

GENERAL INFORMATION: San Jacinto College has partnered with the Houston Symphony for the past two years to bring performances to all three SJC campuses. This summer’s Sounds of Symphony concert is sure to get audience members up on their feet! The performance is designed to provide families with a dynamic musical experience with this year's theme “Gotta Dance!” Audiences will enjoy dance numbers from such productions as "Carmen," "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," "West Side Story," and "Rodeo." Houston Symphony associate conductor Robert Franz will lead the hour-long performance.

The event is free and open to the public.
