Public Service & Safety department presents informational session

BEAUMONT – Lamar Institute of Technology’s Department of Public Service & Safety will have an informational session for the public on June 14 at 5 p.m.


The event will be held in the conference room of the Multi-Purpose Center on the campus of LIT.

Program directors of the Regional Police Academy, the Regional Fire Academy, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice Security Threat Groups and Emergency Medical Services will provide information about the minimum requirements for each program, cost, time commitment and the employment outlook for each field. Graduates of the programs will be available to speak about their experiences and new careers.
