Johanna Mary BlumeJohanna Mary Blume age 72 of Galveston died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston with Pastor Robert Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow at MountOlivetCemetery in Dickinson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Funeral Home in
Galveston. Johanna was born October 24, 1938 in Galveston to Joseph and Virginia Mancuso Blume and lived her whole life in Galveston.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother for over 50 years. She was very active in her church and was a volunteer at our Daily Bread and was loved by all who knew her for her warm heart and generosity. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James P. Blume, Sr.; and a brother Joe Roy Mancuso. Survivors include her sons; Jimmy Blume, Jr., Bobby Blume and Richie Blume granddaughters; Joanna Blume, Amanda Blume, Lacy Erickson, Kristin Blume, Brooke Blume and Samantha Garcia grandsons; Eric Blume and Bobby Blume, Jr. and one Great granddaughter Alliyah Erickson.
