CCCC of PTAs Announce 2011 Senior Scholarship Awards

Clear Creek Community Council of PTAs Scholarship Chairman, Gina Rico, is pleased to announce that ten (10) PTA scholarships have been awarded to graduating seniors during the month of May. In order to qualify for these scholarships, seniors were required to fill out an application and submit an essay, which was evaluated by a committee of PTA Council volunteers. The assessment process for awarding these scholarships was based on the following criteria: academic achievement, school and community involvement, and educational goals.

Each of the following students was presented a $500.00 scholarship during their individual High Schools’ Senior Award Nights:

Clear Brook High School: Bailey Sincox and Neil Patel

Clear Creek High School: Oliver Brown and Elizabeth Nifong

Clear Horizons Early College High School: Sarah Cravens

Clear Lake High School: Michael Hoffman and Clemens Lee

Clear Springs High School: Ashley Abraham and Aproteem Choudhury

Clear View High School: Josselin Guiterrez

Clear Creek Community Council of PTAs would like to acknowledge and thank those individuals who purchased items from the Silent Auction held during the February Founders’ Day Dinner; proceeds from that auction benefit the council’s scholarship fund. CCCC of PTAs would also like to thank the Local PTA and PTSA Units (in this Council) for their donations to this year’s scholarship fund.
