The Dickinson Independent School District Board of Trustees on Monday voted unanimously to award a $3,328,000 contract to Martin-Harris Construction Company for the renovation of a school district building for use by the Technology Department.
The school board voted unanimously to convert the interest rate on Variable Rate Unlimited Tax Schoolhouse Bonds issued in 2008 from a weekly rate to a term rate.
The school board voted unanimously to endorse the re-appointment of Joe Adams and Manuel Guajaro, Jr. to the Texas Association School Boards Board of Directors. Adams, who also serves on the Katy ISD school board, is in position 4A on the TASB Board. Guajardo, a school board member at Texas City ISD, serves in 4B.
