League City – The Clear Creek Independent School District is pleased to release preliminary 2010-2011 TAKS scores.

“I am proud of our students and staff. The performance results and commended scores are significantly above the state average,” said Greg Smith, Superintendent of Schools. “I often tell parents and community members the TAKS test is only one indicator of how we are doing as a school system and the true indicator of success is how we are preparing children for college and the workforce. Ninety-five percent of our students complete high schools, 91% of those students have plans for higher education, and a record number of students are receiving workforce certifications in nursing, culinary arts, and more.”
