The cities of La Marque, Pearland and Port Arthur, as well as La Marque Independent School District, will hold special and runoff elections on Saturday for various positions.
In La Marque, the city will hold a special mayoral election to fill the vacancy left by the recall of Geraldine Sam. Sam is on the ballot for re-election to her unexpired term as mayor, and is challenged by Bobby Hocking.
La Marque will also hold a runoff election for City Council District D between Clent Brown and David Pennington. Election Information
